Ventós Group is an international company specialized in the distribution and production of Essential Oils & Aroma Chemicals with the Head Quarters located in Barcelona, Spain. The group has 7 subsidiaries around the world. We need to reinforce our Purchasing team of synthetic aroma chemicals, mainly from India and China, by incorporating a Junior Buyer.
Your role
- Requesting offers and samples from suppliers.
- Communicating and keeping the offers received up to date.
- Managing the samples received for the Laboratory and the Sales Department
- Carrying out sales reporting with suppliers
- Assisting in price negotiations with suppliers.
- Making complaints to suppliers: quality, service...
- Purchase schedules follow up
- Coordination with other departments
- Managing communication with the sales team
- Communicating price changes to sales and implementing new sales strategies depending on market fluctuations.
- Having the option of traveling, attending trade fairs and visit suppliers.
Your Skills and Experience
- You must have at least 2-3 years of previous and recent experience in a Purchasing department. We will positively value positively that you have worked in B2B environments and in sectors such as the chemical industry or Flavors & amp; Fragrances, among other industries.
- We will consider that you bring a higher education in Business Administration or Business School among other related training.
- Knowledge of import/export processes is a plus.
- Languages: Strong knowledge of English is a must for this vacancy. Other languages would be an asset.
