Pipper nigrum is a perennial climber which is cultivated for its fruit which is usually dried and used as a spice. The dirverse most common peppers depend on the tretment of the seeds: black pepper (cooked and dried unripe fruit), green pepper (dried unriped fruit) and white pepper (ripe fruit seeds). Its oil is obtained by steam distillation of Piper nigrum dried ripe fruits, mainly in Kerala, India. The Ventós Black Pepper intense MD enhances the warm spicy side of the oil, bringing to you the effect of a real bite of black pepper.
